Pct. 5 Corporal Charles Galloway Ambushed and Murdered as Harris County Violent Crime Wave Continues

On Sunday, 1/23/22, Corporal Charles Galloway (Harris County Constables Office, Pct. 5) was murdered, ambushed and shot multiple times with an assault rifle during a traffic stop. Law enforcement agencies are now searching for the alleged shooter, identified as Oscar Rosales (age 51). Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg confirmed that Rosales has been charged with capital murder. "We are besieged by violence, and we need the community's help," Ogg said. "Justice is coming." There is currently a $60,000 dollar reward for information leading to the arrest of Rosales. Corporal Charles Galloway was a twelve-year veteran of the Precinct 5 Constables Office. Corporal Galloway reportedly leaves behind a daughter and sister. Please keep them in your hearts and prayers. Corporal Galloway - Rest in Peace. Nemo me impune lacessit.

UPDATE 2/3/22: Precinct 5 Corporal Charles Galloway was laid to rest on Tuesday, 2/1/22. Rest in Peace. On a very troubling note, it has been reported that County Judge Lina Hidalgo disrespected the officer's funeral ceremony by grandstanding there for political gain (refusing to go to her assigned seat, arguing with a sergeant who was helping to coordinate the event, interjecting herself into the proceedings for media exposure, etc.). Based on the video (see link below), it appears those allegations may have merit:
