About the Blog

To win elections, Republicans try to paint all Democrats as extreme, radical liberals. In reality, the Democratic Party encompasses the full range of ideology, to include many moderates.  Our diversity and inclusiveness is, in fact, one of our greatest strengths.  Still, there is a constant flood of extreme political rhetoric from the far-left and far-right, so this blog was created to offer interested people a moderate's perspective on important issues.  Again, while the administrator is a moderate Democrat, this blog is independently operated and not affiliated with any political party or political action committee (PAC).  This political blog is also not part of the Harris County Democrats Association formed in 1953 by Mrs. Frankie Randolph and later led by Chair Woman Billie Carr.  We are an independent blog and simply offer candid, mainstream perspective to help the Democratic Party improve and be successful.
