QUESTION:  How is this blog different from most Democratic political blogs?

ANSWER:  This blog doesn’t read like most liberal or progressive Democratic blogs.  There are many moderate Democrats out there that believe the Democratic Party has moved too far to the left and we would like to see the Party move back towards the political center.  To that end, most blog posts reflect a moderate’s viewpoint on current issues (e.g. abortion, immigration, border security, crime, taxes, government spending, the economy, student loan forgiveness, gun control, the homeless, the county jail).

QUESTION:  Why does this blog sometimes criticize Democratic politicians instead of just attacking Republicans?

ANSWER:  There are a lot of Democratic blogs that just attack Republicans.  There are very few Democratic blogs that also try to help steer our Party towards the political center AND hold our own leaders accountable when they falter.  We believe incompetent, self-serving, radical, and/or corrupt Democratic politicians can do more damage to our Party than Republicans.  While Republicans often support unethical and/or corrupt politicians (e.g. Trump, Paxton, Santos, Gaetz), that doesn’t mean Democrats should give our own lemons a free pass simply because they have a "D" next to their name.  That is a fundamental difference between the two political Parties right now.  Democrats actually expect our politicians to do a good job and we try to hold them accountable when they don’t.  That’s a feature of our Party, not a bug.  Instead of being just another echo chamber, this blog offers our Party candid, mainstream opinions and honest feedback.
