For 2023, due to our limited operations, our only candidate endorsements are for Democrat / Texas State Senator JOHN WHITMIRE for Houston Mayor, and Democrat CHRIS HOLLINS (former Harris County Clerk) for Houston City Controller. Senator Whitmire's focus on public safety, our economy, our decaying infrastructure, and improving city services are closely aligned with the core needs of Houstonians. In addition, given his empathic, inclusive leadership style and proven ability to compromise, we believe Senator Whitmire will endeavor to bring ALL Houstonians together for the common good, which is essential in a city as diverse as ours. Chris Hollins' priorities closely match those of John Whitmire, with the added focus of safeguarding our taxpayer dollars through aggressive financial audits, offering innovative ideas for operational improvements, and helping Houston chart a new path to fiscal sustainability. When you cast your vote for Houston Mayor and Houston City Controller, we strongly urge you to vote for Democrats JOHN WHITMIRE and CHRIS HOLLINS.
